Gregory Lien

Been practicing law since 1975. Started off as a prosecutor, but eventually ended up specializing in land use and environmental issues at Lake Tahoe. Still have my office in Tahoe City. Was one of the few non-elected officials to participate in the Presidential Summit on the Environment hosted by Clinton/Gore, have been interviewed on NPR's Morning Edition, and had a few other career highlights. One of those I remember fondly was attending a conference on dispute resolution with Jim McLeod in Russia not that long before Jim's untimely death.

I waited a long time to have kids! But its been the greatest thing - - love being a Dad. It'll be awhile before I catch up with all of you that have grandkids already. The mother of my kids died many years ago, so spent a long time as a single Dad.

Anyone else remember Bruce's Brigade? That was such a memorable trip - - were we out of control in NYC or what? Mr. Bruce's classes were great, and Mrs. Allen's drama classes were often off the charts. Still what I remember most were all the extra-curricular activities at school, and most of all so many of you who have a special place in my memory.
